What you'll do:

As a Visual Merchandiser – Furniture you will play a pivotal role in shaping how two premium brands are perceived across every customer touchpoint. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve defining visual identities that distinguish each brand’s character while ensuring consistency in storytelling from catalogues to showrooms. You’ll oversee both 2D creative production—such as catalogues and marketing assets—and 3D renderings that bring products to life in realistic settings. Your expertise will be crucial in curating showroom layouts that not only showcase products but also drive conversion through considered spatial arrangements. You’ll direct tradeshow booth designs for international exhibitions while managing photography direction for campaigns that highlight craftsmanship. Collaboration is key: you’ll partner with Marketing on campaign rollouts, Product teams on material fidelity, Sales on dealer presentations—all while maintaining a structured approach within an established brand-approval framework. Success in this role means delivering visually engaging environments that foster client engagement while upholding the highest standards of quality across all channels.

  • Define and maintain the visual identity for both brands across all channels, ensuring each maintains its unique positioning through thoughtful storytelling and presentation.
  • Lead campaign visuals, product narratives, and brand presentations by overseeing consistency across digital platforms, print materials, and spatial applications.
  • Direct 2D creative production including catalogues, lookbooks, presentations, social media assets, marketing collateral, and sales tools; manage graphic designers and external freelancers to ensure timely delivery at high standards.
  • Oversee 3D rendering for products, interior scenes, and dealer proposals by collaborating with Product and Technical teams to guarantee accuracy in materials, lighting, and brand tone.
  • Lead visual merchandising for showrooms and dealer/distributor spaces by curating product layouts, zoning strategies, styling objects, seasonal updates, and supporting new showroom launches in Milan and Hanoi.
  • Develop interior concepts for showrooms, dealer setups, and exhibition spaces by adapting layouts to different markets while balancing aesthetics with commercial functionality to enhance client engagement.
  • Design and art-direct tradeshow booths for international fairs by coordinating build logistics and product selection to create compelling exhibition environments.
  • Art-direct or execute product photography for lifestyle campaigns by managing photographers, stylists, and external teams to uphold brand standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing on campaign calendars, Product on material accuracy and launches, Sales on dealer presentations and showroom support to serve commercial objectives through cohesive visual storytelling.

  • Formal background in interior design, spatial design or architecture (degree or equivalent professional track record) is essential as this is a spatially focused role rather than graphics-only.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and styling physical retail or showroom environments with proven ability to deliver projects from concept through on-site execution.
  • Material literacy in premium furniture materials such as oak timber, stone, metal leather fabrics with sound judgement for art-directing them authentically.
  • At least five years’ experience in art direction or visual merchandising ideally within furniture interior or lifestyle brands showing successful delivery of showroom booth or exhibition environments.
  • Strong eye for composition materiality spatial design enabling translation of brand identity into both graphics and space moving seamlessly between concept development hands-on execution.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign) as well as 3D tools like 3ds Max Blender SketchUp or similar including understanding of lighting rendering realism.
  • Ability to manage multiple 2D 3D spatial outputs simultaneously within a defined brand-approval model demonstrating structured project management skills.
  • Reserved design-literate taste aligned with the brand ethos combined with commercial awareness of how visuals support sales outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills enabling effective collaboration across marketing product sales teams as well as external designers freelancers photographers.
