The challenge
NTT DATA sought a knowledgeable partner with expertise in inclusive hiring, recruitment best practice, and bias reduction. They selected the Robert Walters Talent Advisory team to conduct an audit of their end-to-end recruitment and hiring journey.The solution
The diagnostic analysed bias across 12 stages of the candidate recruitment journey. Through the gender diversity lens, it uncovered hidden barriers and biases within the hiring process.
NTT DATA was provided with an immediate to-do list of how to mitigate bias, maximise inclusivity and drive change as well as best-in-class case studies from leading future-thinking organisations.
The outcome
19 recommendations to minimise gender bias with diagnostic findings presented to senior stakholders. This included enhancing external communication on flexible working, improved access to external communication of gender representation data, and increased transparency of the organisation’s parental leave policies.
