What you'll do:

As a Key Account Manager Food Service based in Hanoi or willing to travel across northern Vietnam, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s footprint within the food service retail landscape.

  • Identify, target, and secure new key accounts within the Food Service Retail sector such as quick service restaurants, casual dining establishments, coffee chains, and catering groups by leveraging your interpersonal skills.
  • Develop and implement segment-specific business plans that align closely with the country strategy to ensure sustained commercial growth.
  • Deliver sales and margin targets through both direct engagement with clients and indirect channels by nurturing distributor relationships.
  • Lead conversion programmes from competitors by demonstrating the unique value proposition, innovation, and total cost of ownership advantages offered by the company’s solutions.
  • Manage and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers including Operations, Procurement, Quality Assurance, and Engineering teams to foster trust and loyalty.
  • Ensure contract renewals while upselling comprehensive solutions such as chemicals, equipment, training services, IoT systems, and hygiene programmes tailored to client needs.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers to measure performance outcomes and compliance with agreed standards.
  • Support distributors servicing Food Service Retail customers by providing product knowledge training, sales skill enhancement sessions, and guidance on hygiene standards.
  • Develop promotional plans as well as joint business strategies with key partners to maximise portfolio presence in the market.
  • Coordinate closely with Technical Service and Application Teams to guarantee correct product usage and optimal equipment performance while ensuring HACCP compliance.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred for this position.
  • At least five years of B2B sales experience ideally gained within food & beverage, hospitality, hygiene or food service sectors is highly desirable.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets while managing large customer portfolios demonstrates your dependability.
  • Exceptional communication skills combined with negotiation expertise enable you to build rapport across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Advanced presentation abilities allow you to articulate complex solutions clearly during client meetings or training sessions.
  • Knowledge of HACCP principles as well as food safety standards or hygiene systems provides an advantage when engaging clients concerned about compliance.
  • Proficiency in both English and Vietnamese ensures effective collaboration across regional teams and customer bases.
  • Strategic thinking coupled with strong business acumen empowers you to develop actionable plans that drive commercial success.
