Country Commercial & Business Development Manager – Vietnam Location: Vietnam Industry IT Hardware | Data Storage Solutions | Memory Products | Enterprise Technology | Channel Distribution About the Opportunity Our client is a leading international provider of data storage, memory, and IT hardware solutions, serving customers across enterprise, commercial, industrial, gaming, and channel markets worldwide. As part of its growth strategy in Vietnam, the company is seeking a commercially driven and entrepreneurial Country Commercial & Business Development Manager to lead market expansion, develop strategic partnerships, and drive sustainable revenue growth. This role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of the Vietnam market and work closely with regional leadership to accelerate business growth through distributors, system integrators, enterprise customers, OEMs, and project channels.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute business growth strategies to expand market presence in Vietnam.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across enterprise, commercial, industrial, gaming, OEM, and project segments.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve revenue and market share objectives.
- Drive customer acquisition and develop strategic relationships with key accounts.
Channel & Distribution Management
- Develop and strengthen relationships with distributors, system integrators (SI), value-added resellers (VAR), retailers, and strategic partners.
- Recruit and onboard new channel partners to expand market coverage.
- Lead joint business planning activities with key partners to drive growth and profitability.
- Support channel enablement programs, product launches, promotions, and partner development initiatives.
Enterprise & Project Sales
- Identify and develop enterprise, industrial, and project-based business opportunities.
- Engage with key decision-makers, procurement teams, and technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with regional teams to develop competitive commercial proposals and solutions.
- Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle from prospecting to project completion.
Commercial Management
- Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, commercial terms, and partnership agreements.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activities.
- Develop accurate forecasts, business plans, and growth initiatives.
- Ensure achievement of sales targets and profitability objectives.
Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and opportunity pipelines.
- Prepare regular business reviews and performance reports for management.
- Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of successful experience in Business Development, Channel Sales, Enterprise Sales, or Commercial Management within the IT industry.
- Proven experience managing distributors, channel partners, system integrators, or project-based sales.
- Strong network within Vietnam's IT ecosystem, including distributors, resellers, enterprise customers, and SI partners.
- Experience in one or more of the following sectors is highly preferred:
- Data Storage Solutions (SSD, HDD, Flash Storage)
- Memory Products (DRAM, RAM Modules, Memory Cards)
- IT Hardware & Components
- Enterprise Technology
- Industrial Computing
- PC Components & Gaming Hardware
- IT Distribution & Channel Business

Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Language
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English.
- Mandarin is an advantage.
