Business Development Manager (Medical Devices)

We are seeking a commercially driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Lead to drive growth across Patient Support Systems (PSS), Global Surgical Solutions (GSS), and Front Line Care (FLC) businesses in Vietnam.

Business Development & Market Development
• Support business objectives and identify market opportunities.
• Support the achievement of revenue, market share, and profitability targets across assigned portfolios.
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Support strategic business initiatives and market expansion plans.

Distributor Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Baxter's distributor partners.
• Become a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for commercial support, guidance, and business development.
• Conduct regular business reviews and performance assessments with distributor partners.
• Support distributors in developing account strategies, managing opportunities, and achieving growth targets.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen distributor capabilities and market coverage.
• Ensure distributors are equipped with the tools, training, and support needed to drive business success.

Customer & Market Engagement
• Establish strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospital administrators, clinicians, biomedical engineers, procurement stakeholders, and key decision-makers.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
• Support customer meetings, product evaluations, tenders, and project discussions.
• Position Baxter as a trusted partner by demonstrating the clinical, operational, and economic value of its solutions.
• Support distributor engagement with key stakeholders across strategic healthcare accounts.

Sales & Commercial Excellence
• Drive achievement of sales objectives through effective distributor management and opportunity development.
• Manage opportunity pipelines and support distributors in converting projects into revenue-generating business.
• Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activities to develop winning commercial strategies.
• Support tender submissions, contract negotiations, and capital equipment opportunities.
• Deliver accurate forecasts and business performance updates to management.

Product Expertise & Training
• Serve as the local market expert for the PSS, GSS, and FLC portfolios.
• Support product demonstrations, customer presentations, and clinical evaluations.
• Collaborate with regional Product Managers to deliver product training programs, workshops, customer education activities, and clinical events.
• Support distributor capability development through ongoing product and commercial training.
• Communicate the clinical, operational, and economic benefits of Baxter's solutions to healthcare providers and distributor partners.

Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Act as the communication bridge between distributors, customers, commercial leaders, Product Managers, and regional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Service, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to support business objectives.
• Escalate and resolve distributor and customer issues effectively to ensure business continuity and customer satisfaction.
• Support regional and local strategic initiatives to drive long-term growth.

Business Reporting & Performance Management
• Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts, territory plans, and business performance reports.
• Monitor distributor performance and key account metrics.
• Identify risks and opportunities and recommend actions to optimize business results.
• Provide regular updates on pipeline development, market activities, and growth initiatives.
• Maintain strong commercial discipline across assigned territories and portfolios.

Education & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Science, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, distributor management, hospital account management, or solution selling within the healthcare industry.
• Proven track record in medical devices, capital medical equipment, healthcare technology, surgical equipment, or hospital solutions.
• Experience supporting distributor-led commercial models and managing healthcare customers.
• Experience with hospital procurement processes, tenders, and project-based sales environments is highly preferred.
• Experience conducting product demonstrations, customer training, workshops, or clinical education sessions is advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and supporting business growth initiatives.
