What you'll do:

As Country Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the organisation’s presence in Vietnam. Your day-to-day responsibilities will span from strategic planning to hands-on management of people and processes. You will be entrusted with ensuring that all business activities run smoothly while meeting ambitious sales targets. By guiding your team through both challenges and successes, you will foster an environment where everyone feels supported and motivated. Your ability to balance commercial acumen with empathetic leadership will be key as you represent the company legally and operationally. Success in this role means not only achieving financial goals but also building lasting relationships within your team and with clients across the fragrance industry.

  • Act as the legal representative for the company in Vietnam, managing compliance with local regulations and representing the organisation in official matters.
  • Control profit and loss for the Vietnamese entity, monitoring financial performance and implementing strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Guide and support a multidisciplinary team including sales, business development, customer service, and laboratory staff, promoting collaboration and professional growth.
  • Develop new business opportunities by identifying potential clients and nurturing existing relationships within the fragrance sector.
  • Drive sales initiatives to meet or exceed revenue goals, working closely with team members to develop effective strategies tailored to the local market.
  • Manage office administration tasks such as budgeting, resource allocation, procurement, and facilities management to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership based overseas to align local strategies with broader organisational objectives.
  • Prepare regular reports on business performance for senior management, providing insights into market trends and operational challenges.
  • Champion a culture of inclusivity, open communication, and continuous improvement within the Vietnamese office.

Familiarity with local legal frameworks is essential given your role as legal representative. Above all else, your commitment to nurturing talent within your team ensures that everyone feels valued and empowered. Your blend of commercial insight, empathy-driven leadership style, fluency in English and Vietnamese, plus your passion for delivering results makes you uniquely qualified for this rewarding position.

  • A supportive approach to leadership that encourages knowledge sharing, personal development, and collective achievement within your team.
  • Experience developing new business opportunities through networking, relationship-building, and market analysis.
