What you'll do:
As Country Manager – Luxury Fragrance, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the company’s presence in Vietnam:
- Develop and implement both annual and long-term business plans for Vietnam, aligning sales, marketing, and financial objectives with global strategy.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify emerging consumer trends, new business opportunities, and competitive threats within the luxury fragrance sector.
- Localise global marketing campaigns to ensure cultural relevance and maximum impact among Vietnamese consumers.
- Build brand awareness and desire by positioning the portfolio as a leader in the luxury fragrance segment through strategic initiatives.
- Capture new opportunities by winning new business accounts and expanding existing relationships with key retailers and distributors.
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing local team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and passion for fragrance.
- Oversee all back-office operations including logistics, supply chain management, and administration while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Establish strong connections with media outlets and influencers to enhance brand visibility across offline and online channels.
- Manage budgets effectively, demonstrating strong financial acumen in all aspects of P&L responsibility.
- Undertake additional tasks assigned reasonably by the employer from time to time.
What you bring:
- University graduate with at least 10 years of commercial experience, including 5 years in senior leadership roles within Vietnam.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and profitably growing businesses in the Vietnamese market.
- Deep understanding of Vietnamese luxury consumers as well as retail landscapes across offline and online channels.
- Established network of contacts among key retailers, distributors, media outlets, and influencers relevant to luxury goods.
- Strong financial acumen demonstrated through effective management of P&L statements and budgets.
- Excellent leadership skills complemented by outstanding communication abilities that foster collaboration within teams.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to build trust-based relationships across diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in both Vietnamese and English is essential for effective communication internally and externally.
