What you'll do:
As Country Sales Manager, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the direction of the sales function throughout Vietnam. Your day-to-day activities will involve guiding your team towards achieving ambitious booking goals by implementing robust territory management strategies. You will leverage data-driven insights from dashboards to monitor performance metrics closely, ensuring timely interventions where needed. - Guide and motivate a team of Account Sales Engineers and Territory Sales Engineers to consistently achieve district booking targets through effective territory and account management strategies.
- Implement best practices in sales planning and execution by utilising dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and taking corrective action when necessary.
- Engage directly with key strategic accounts at a senior level to ensure alignment with global and regional sales frameworks while maximising customer satisfaction.
- Support regional leadership in resource allocation decisions, quota setting, and execution plans to ensure optimal team performance.
- Foster a positive work environment that reinforces company culture and values by collaborating with leaders across regions and functions.
- Establish regular cadence calls with team members to monitor progress, provide coaching, and support their ongoing professional growth.
- Conduct monthly reviews of top district opportunities to improve win rates through structured negotiation of pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for channel partners in your area, coordinating tactical sales efforts and providing feedback on channel adherence.
- Ensure comprehensive entry of competitor products and pricing into CRM systems while maintaining accurate data on account potential within the district.
- Actively recruit, mentor, and develop top industry talent while supporting underperformers through targeted coaching or transition processes.
What you bring:
To excel as Country Sales Manager, you will bring substantial experience from previous roles where you have successfully managed large sales teams within industrial automation or similar industries. Your educational background—ideally in business or STEM—will complement your practical knowledge of complex sales cycles.
