What you'll do:
As a Production Planning Manager, you will be at the heart of operational excellence—setting strategic direction for master production planning while supporting transformation initiatives that shape the future of the business. - Manage weekly forecast processes using Sales & Operations Planning input, ensuring daily planning activities are efficiently organised to sustain new master production planning procedures.
- Oversee overall mixing and levelling on a weekly basis while verifying plans against production constraints to optimise resource allocation.
- Communicate forecasts effectively with Purchasing and Human Resources teams, establishing detailed daily plans for each section of the plant.
- Finalise and approve weekly production schedules in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment across departments.
- Support the management team by structuring and driving major cross-functional initiatives that require clear processes, expectations, and robust follow-up mechanisms.
- Act as an analytical resource for special internal projects, providing data-driven insights and recommendations on urgent or complex topics as required by managers.
- Develop and implement strategies for both short-term improvements and long-term organisational goals, allocating resources appropriately to achieve desired outcomes.
- Analyse company performance based on internal factors, submitting comprehensive reports with actionable suggestions for improvement where necessary.
