What you'll do:
As Supply Chain Manager based in Binh Duong, you will play an integral role in orchestrating the entire supply chain function from end-to-end. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence across material planning, production scheduling, logistics coordination, warehouse management, sales administration, and customer service. You will be responsible for developing robust strategies that drive cost savings while maintaining high standards of delivery reliability. By nurturing your team through coaching and training initiatives—and facilitating retention programmes—you will create an environment where staff feel supported and motivated. Your expertise will be called upon to manage complex import/export logistics including customs clearance and tax control processes. You will also oversee warehouse operations ensuring accurate inventory records and efficient material handling. Through effective procurement policy development and supplier negotiations you will contribute significantly to reducing costs while improving quality. Success in this role requires you to balance strategic input with hands-on management—ensuring both immediate operational targets are met as well as longer-term business objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations including material planning, production planning, logistics, transport, sales administration, and customer services to ensure seamless workflow across departments.
- Develop and implement strategies for cost saving, supplier on-time delivery, payment terms optimisation, customer on-time delivery, order leadtime reliability, stock rotation, and stock reduction.
- Coach, train, and develop staff members while facilitating retention programmes that nurture talent and foster a collaborative team culture.
- Act as a reference point for sales administration by managing sales orders and shipping processes efficiently to meet customer expectations.
- Lead plant planning initiatives by coordinating production schedules and capacity analysis to facilitate investment decisions and new product development projects.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics by arranging container schedules for import/export activities and overseeing customs clearance procedures.
- Control import tax processes including refund applications while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Supervise warehouse operations such as material handling (incoming/internal movements), production feeding, inventory record accuracy, stock reduction strategies, raw materials/finished goods storage, final packing/marking/preparing shipping documents.
- Drive medium- and short-term production planning by leveraging MRP inputs (sales forecasts/material forecasts) to stabilise manufacturing manpower efficiency.
- Develop procurement policies/procedures/objectives for goods/services acquisition; negotiate with key suppliers; investigate/correct supply problems; review purchase economies to reduce costs/improve quality/delivery time.
