IT Mananager (ERP-Manufacturing)

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager (ERP-Manufacturing) to lead and manage our core IT functions, infrastructure, and digital transformation roadmap in Ho Chi Minh City. Job Purpose To lead and manage the company’s IT function, ensuring reliable, secure and efficient IT operations while driving ERP and digital transformation initiatives. The IT Manager will play a key role in the enterprise ERP roadmap, production monitoring, warehouse and costing processes, system integration, and collaboration with HQ and business users.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure & Operations • Manage IT infrastructure including servers, network, internet, Wi-Fi, PCs, printers, CCTV, telephone systems and related equipment. • Ensure system availability, reliability and performance to support manufacturing and office operations. • Manage backup, disaster recovery, system monitoring, IT asset control and business continuity. • Coordinate external IT vendors, service providers and maintenance contracts.

2. ERP Systems • Take ownership of day-to-day ERP support and the roadmap for implementation, migration, enhancement and stabilization. • Coordinate with HQ IT, consultants and local users on requirements, gap analysis, testing, UAT, master data, cutover and post-go-live support. • Understand and support end-to-end ERP processes across Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, Inventory and Costing. • Ensure system configuration, user roles, authorization controls and master data governance are properly maintained.

3. Manufacturing, Production Monitoring & Shop-floor Systems • Support implementation of real-time production monitoring and shop-floor data collection solutions. • Improve visibility of machine status, output, downtime, scrap, yield and production efficiency together with Production and Engineering. • Automate manual production reporting and integrate production data with ERP and management reporting. • Ensure production systems and interfaces are stable, accurate and aligned with operational requirements.

4. Warehouse, Inventory & Costing Systems • Support warehouse processes including receiving, put-away, picking, transfer, issue, return, stock counting and traceability. • Work with Finance, Production and Warehouse to ensure system transactions correctly support inventory valuation and product costing. • Support BOM, routing, standard/actual cost, material consumption, production variance and month-end costing processes. • Analyze and resolve system issues causing inventory, warehouse or costing discrepancies.

5. System Integration & Data • Manage integrations between ERP, production systems, warehouse solutions, finance systems, APIs and other business applications. • Coordinate interface design, data mapping, testing, error handling and reconciliation to ensure reliable data flow. • Support reporting, database and BI requirements and promote data accuracy and consistency across systems. • Maintain technical documentation for interfaces, configurations and system changes.

6. IT Security & Compliance • Establish and maintain IT security policies, access controls, antivirus, firewall, endpoint protection and data protection measures. • Monitor cybersecurity risks and implement preventive and corrective actions. • Ensure IT systems comply with company policies, internal control, audit requirements and applicable regulations.

7. User Support & Service Management • Manage IT helpdesk and ensure effective user support with appropriate service levels and issue tracking. • Provide user training and guidance on ERP, IT systems, cybersecurity and company IT policies. • Drive root-cause analysis and permanent solutions for recurring issues.

8. IT Project, Budget & Team Management • Lead IT projects and prepare project plans, budgets, timelines, risk logs and management progress reports. • Prepare and control annual IT budget, CAPEX/OPEX, software licenses and IT investment plans. • Evaluate suppliers and negotiate solutions to achieve appropriate cost, quality and service. • Manage, coach and develop IT team members and establish clear procedures, standards and documentation.

Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field. • Minimum 7-10 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role. • Strong experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred. • Hands-on experience with major enterprise ERP platforms. • Practical understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, BOM, routing, inventory, warehouse management and product costing. • Experience with ERP implementation, migration, system integration, APIs, databases, reporting or digital transformation projects. • Good knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, servers, Microsoft environment, cybersecurity and backup/disaster recovery. • Strong project management, problem-solving, vendor management and stakeholder management skills. • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with local users, management, consultants and regional/HQ IT teams. • Good command of English; Vietnamese language capability is required for local coordination.
