Chinese-Speaking Embedded Software Project Manager (SW PCM)

A global technology and engineering organization specializing in software development, embedded systems, and digital solutions. The company operates across multiple countries and delivers innovative products and services in automotive, IoT, and smart systems. The Vietnam engineering center plays a key role in providing advanced software solutions, including embedded development, system engineering, and IT services to global clients.

We are looking for experienced Embedded Software Project Managers with strong Chinese communication skills to join a high-performing engineering team. The role focuses on delivering next-generation In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) and embedded software systems for global automotive projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Act as the main point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders on software-related matters

- Manage the full project lifecycle from project initiation to final delivery

- Ensure project success based on Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) objectives

- Analyze and clarify customer requirements with the development team

- Plan, track, and control project schedules and deliverables

- Coordinate and lead cross-functional development teams

- Assign tasks and monitor progress of software development activities

- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans

- Solve project issues to ensure timelines and quality standards are met

- Support team development through coaching and performance feedback

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or related disciplines

- At least 8 years of experience in Embedded Software Development

- Proven experience in project management and risk management

- Strong knowledge of microcontrollers and microprocessors

- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle models (V-model is a plus)

- Fluent in Chinese (spoken and written)

- Good English communication skills

- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in automotive or embedded systems industry

- Knowledge of in-vehicle communication and automotive standards

- Familiarity with functional safety or automotive compliance standards

- PMP certification or equivalent is an advantage
