Position Overview
Our Client is seeking an experienced Test Engineering Manager to lead a team of Software Test Engineers and drive comprehensive testing strategies across sophisticated software and embedded product environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, deep expertise in software testing and automation, and a passion for quality excellence.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise a team of Software Test Engineers in planning, executing, and managing end-to-end testing activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define testing requirements, test plans, test cases, and project timelines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Partner closely with development teams to understand product requirements and resolve testing-related challenges.
• Oversee functional, regression, integration, performance, and system testing activities.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks following industry best practices to improve test coverage, efficiency, and reusability.
• Analyze testing outcomes and recommend process improvements for enhanced product quality.
• Stay current with emerging testing technologies, tools, and methodologies, while promoting innovation within the team.
• Participate in project review and status meetings, providing updates on development progress and defect resolution.
• Support resource planning, budgeting, and tool selection to ensure effective project execution.
• Prepare regular management reports highlighting team achievements, project status, key risks, and mitigation plans.
• Develop onboarding and training programs to continuously enhance team capabilities.
• Effectively manage team dynamics and resolve conflicts when necessary.

Requirements

Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience:
• Minimum 8 years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automation testing.
• Previous experience leading testing teams and managing software quality initiatives.
• Experience working in Agile and cross-functional development environments.

Language:
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Certifications (Preferred):
• ISTQB Foundation Certification
• Agile-related certifications
• API Testing certifications

Technical Skills:
• Strong background in software testing methodologies, tools, and quality assurance best practices.
• Experience testing Android-based products, mobile devices, smart devices, POS systems, or similar connected products.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting.
• Familiarity with tools such as Robot Framework, TestComplete, or similar testing platforms.
• Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of delivering complex testing projects from planning through production release.
